3 Stars Good for stopping balls, but not sturdy enough to stop a child
I bought this device to keep basketballs from bouncing into the street. So far, it works perfectly. However, it is not sturdy enough to stop a child or anything over a few pounds. I think the first time one of my kids accidently runs into, the side posts will bend and render this inoperable. Great idea, but I am concerned that it will not hold up.

5 Stars Great Product
Whilst the net is good enough to stop a ball from rolling into the street, it certainly wouldn’t stop a determined kid (nor, I suspect, is it designed to). The main benefit I have seen is physiological and my kids certainly recognize the net as a boundary that they do not go beyond.

From a practical view, the net is easy to install, open, close and store. Well recommended.

1 Star Awful
We bought this to keep our 18 month old in the back yard, rather than running down the driveway into the street. Obviously, we were outside with her at all times, before and during our use of this product.

We did not realize how flimsy it would be. By positioning it in such a way that she could not get around it, she simply went UNDER it and continued down the driveway. Then we had to run after her but the “gate” was much more of a barrier for us than for her, since we couldn’t really get under it as quickly as she.

Used it for about 5 minutes before she figured out how to escape, and we realized that it was far more dangerous to have it up (which only slowed US down running after her towards the street) than to have it down and be able to go after her quickly if necessary.

We never used it again.

Terrible product.

2 Stars Not That Great
There is no way to get food out of these cubes once it’s frozen in there. It’s not like an ice tray where you can twist and turn the sections and out pops the cubes. I use this for avocado only, and that works for me. But for all other foods, I use a mini muffin pan made of silicone. The food can be popped out so easily, much easier than even ice cube trays.

1 Star Good Idea, Bad Product
I ended up throwing these away – they started falling apart pretty quickly and, if you’re making food in batches, you would need to buy several sets. A better solution turned out to be simple, one ounce silicone ice cube trays and a few Ziplock freezer bags. Don’t waste your money.

3 Stars Get the 2 oz cubes instead
I started out using these, but had problems with the lids popping open in the freezer. They also don’t stand well in their trays. As my baby got bigger, I needed bigger cubes, so I tried the 2 oz cubes expecting the same problems. I love the 2 oz cubes better. The lids are deeper so that they snap and stay on better…and trays are deeper so that they stand in the fridge/freezer better. If you’re going to buy cubes for freezing baby food, go with the 2 oz. You’ll use them eventually and they have 1 oz measurements on the side if you absolutely need it. I gave these 3 stars because I do love the fact that they’re BPA free and allow me to freeze and heat them without any worries.

If you are going to purchase these go to onestepahead.com. They are better quality and are 2oz instead of 1oz for the same price. Actually they are onsale right now and are $4.95 for one tray of 8 cubes. I use the ones from onestepahead and never have a problem with them. I freeze them, put them in microwave on defrost then wash them and they are good as new!

5 Stars Practical and very easy to use
I love these small containers b/c they come with an attached lid! I make my daughter’s baby food every two weeks, and store the food in the freezer. I can pop a container into the baby bag when we go out, and I’ve never had to worry about spilling the food in my baby bag b/c the lid fits very tightly. I have three sets, and I’ve used them for baby purees and even cubed and steamed veggies and finger foods. One draw back is that the containers are rather small, but I simply use two or three containers at a time per feeding when necessary. This is one of the most useful baby products I’ve ever purchased.

1 Star Convenient, meant to put 5 stars, whoops!
This mill is one of the best things I’ve ever purchased for my baby. No more baby food for the most part. Now, he can just eat what we are having, within reason. It saves time and money for me. Works great, especially if you crank the handle fast. I’m surprised what will go through it!

2 Stars Difficult to use
I bought two of these mills to prepare baby food for my daughter. I am very disappointed with them because they require too much strength in order to push and turn at the same time. Some food goes through with ease, but most foods don’t. I have found that I would rather use my blender. I am amazed that anyone can put pizza or meat through this thing! I have only tried to put steamed fruits and vegetables through it and have had to work really hard at it. Cranking is easy, the pushing down is difficult.

5 Stars Great Time Saver
I thought my mother-in-law was nuts (and a little old-school) when she gave me this food grinder, but I have used it with three sons, a nephew, and two nieces. The beauty of this grinder is that you can put aside some of dinner, grind it up, add a little liquid when necessary, and feed the baby “right from the dinner table.” Meat with veggies is a fan favorite. Some things are dry in nature, and thus grind up a little more difficultly, but a little added milk or cereal always works. The grinder always cleans up easily and travels well. I love this product and highly recommend it.
